The Bazetta - Cortland Optimist Club is a member of the 

Optimist International and determines its own programs

 based on the needs of the community.  


We are civic club whose members represent a

cross-section of volunters with a diverse backgrounds.


  We believe that, through young people, we can influence

 the future by encouraging good academics, citizenship,

and a love of sports and a optimistic view of life.  



We award local high school seniors graduates 

who qualify, with six $1,000 scholarships who will be attending

college in the fall.


We host a variety of events, like: Halloween Party, Free skate,

fishing derby, Summer Enrichments Programs.





        Bazetta Cortland Optimist Club Complex includes 4 lighted baseball fields.

Club meetings are held at the Optimist Club Hall the

first and third wednesday of each month at 7:30pm

          There were over 121 kids who particpated

in the event November 18, 2015 at the Cortland Rollaer Rink.

Kids were treated to pizza & pop. 10 kids won Walmart $10 Gift Cards.
